Remember when everything at Dollar Tree was just One Dollar?
That was when we all loved to shop at the store, but that’s beginning to feel like a long while ago.

Back in 2021, Dollar Tree shocked us all & bumped the prices up to $1.25, and now it looks like they’re going to do it again. Some items may even hit $1.75 and items in the Dollar Plus section may hit as much as $7.
This was a pretty big, annoying change for a store built on “everything for a dollar.”
These price jumps make me wonder, “If Dollar Tree keeps raising prices, why don’t they change their name since not everything is a dollar anymore?”
Dollar Tree’s CEO says the increases are meant to provide more choices for shoppers, offering a broader range of products at varying price points, but i think we would all rather the lower prices with the same selection.
While the increase might only be a few cents for some items, the days of everything being priced at a dollar are officially over as the lowest priced items we see are now $1.25.

At this point I’ll most probably swing by Dollar Tree for the occasional cheap find, or to stock up on candy for a party, but I’m definitely losing my excitement and that feeling of getting a bargain.
Are you still into Dollar Tree, or are all these price increases making you rethink shopping at the store where everything was once a dollar?
